My mom always accuses me of that. "You hate me, and I don't know why." I'm not saying you do hate her, but I'd hate someone if they forced me to do something that was painful for me, and they didn't try to understand all that I was going through. I know you feel that you are not normal or something, but maybe this is just a phase that you are going through. I don't always want to be touched either, even by my husband.

damkids is verified as being by the original poster of the questiontoday they forced me to take off my coat and tell them why i wear it all the time. i was bawling like crazy. then my mom was like why do u hate me!? and started crying. o.O huh..then she hugged me and i didnt hug back. i also hate MORE THAN ANYTHING being touched. but if i tell them that theyll think im even more of a freak and that i got raped or something(i didnt). im abnormal and they just cant accept it. and yea i am insecure.

Probably. Are you uncomfortable with the way you look? Sounds like you feel you got to cover yourself up to hide the way you look.
OCD is catchall for a lot of behaviours but to oversimplefy it, it is extreme behavior to compensate for a fear/insecurity or as a way to deal with the world that is to complex for the patient.
Obsessive cleaning isn't often a direct fear of bacteria, if it was, people would wear surgical masks, but a way to control their fear of all the hidden dangers in the world. If you clean it all, then the unknown can't hurt you.
But such phobia really are beyond an internet forum. You should talk to a medical proffesional about this. Your parents are trying their best but forcing the issue is rarely the answer. You wouldn't cover an obsesive cleaner with poop or shove someone with a fear of hights from an airplane would you?
Talk to your parents about your feelings and then seek medical help. It might help for you to write down your feelings first so you can more clearly express them.

Hmm yes it could be a medical problem sounds like obsessive compulsive disorder, OCD for those who dont kno. I would suggest speaking with a doctor and explain to your parents how you feel many people dont take mental disorders serious adhd is a cop out bipolar is an excuse etc people actually believe that or want to believe that, Im sure your going through a great deal of stress but dont worry theres help have a good trip and wear that jaket if thats what you need its no biggie and if you do have OCD maybe you can use it to get some of that california medical marijuana oh im jokingg.
