I really like him, and I thought he liked me. We're friends for now, but he knows I like him as more than a friend. It started where he really wanted to get to know me, he said the sweetest things to me, and proved to me he was different than other guys. We really opened up to each other. He shared a secret with me, the night we first met. Now, our conversations consist of "What's up?" "Nothing, what're you doing?" I try really hard to be interesting and keep his attention, I also try to get him to open up to me more, like he did. I feel like I'm putting in all the work, because I'm the only one who really wants it to work. What should I do? Give up? Back off? Keep trying? Reply to this Question Share |

I would say back off and see what he does. It sounds as though that when he found out you liked him, and he decided to back off (so he may just want to be friends). Give him some space and let him initiate contact with you. If he's interested in you, he will definitely make it known and make the effort!
