Jamer70 agony auntwell ill have to disagree with emilyanswers as it goes where i am me and my mates just meet a girl who likes games and even challenged us. We all love her and actually want to play her, all the boys think shes cool

Perhaps it cus we are a little older but im sure alot of boys wouldnt mind, as long as you dont bruise their ego to much.

I had a boy friend that loved the fact that i played video games, but i left him cuz he was letting his friends hook him up with other girls. I dont do the short skirts or anything like that, im holding up a 4.0 in my classes....and with my ex he wanted to drop out of school. i didnt like that. About a year ago, my best friend left his gf to be with me...since i wasnt allowed to date, i had to say no. i feel really bad for it too. Im currently in a relationship, but as time goes by i dont know if we'll stay together...in my mind i feel as if i should go to this friend. I dont know, i guess there was more info then needed.

helpjayne agony auntsome guys like it because they feel that they can truly relax with a girl that is into the same stuff as them, but others will just see you as a friend and always see you as one because your not girly enough. it depends on the guy your intrested in sometimes friendship can blossom into more. you should do what you wana do not do something that will make guys wana date you, when you find a guy thats for you he will like you for your looks and personality, if he just wants to be considered kool he'l look for whatever is in so to speak. be happy being who you are.

At your age, no boys don't like it. They work as a pack so will be picked on if there is anything different abut them. They all want girls who have blond hair and short skirts and are none threatening.

They'll feel threatened if you beat them at games or know more about cars than they do as basically you'll be beating them at "man stuff".

When you get a few years older though and all the guys are sick of blonde brainless girls who only like shopping and make up then you'll be fighting them off with a stick.

I was always a strong independent woman and because of this I always used to get picked on by all the boys. No one liked me or wanted to go out with me.

Then I had one long distance relationship that lasted 3 years. (He thought I was strong and cool, but far away so still safe.) Then by the time we split up I was at uni.... and I carried on being strong and being into computer games, and having views on international politics etc, and suddenly all these men were telling me I was perfect and they were falling in love with me and it scared the hell out of me as I had no idea what was going on!!

When a boy is young he wants to feel like he is in charge and he is "the man" so he wants a simple boring girlfriend. When a man is strong and sure of himself, he wants a woman who is a challenge and the best woman in the world will keep challenging him for the rest of his life.

Only the best guys will want you, but unfortunately that won't be for a couple of years.

Good Luck!! xx

SirenaBlusera agony auntHello,

When it comes to what guys like, there's no way to generalize. In Spanish, we have a saying: "En gustos se rompen generos." It means that the tastes and likes and dislikes out there run the gamut from A to Z (or "ah" to "zeta" in Spanish alphabet). I use it a lot, but it's so true.

Many guys are super attracted to girls who have things in common, because in a relationship you spend time together, and that time together is more enjoyable when you like the same things.

I sense there's more to the story... is there someone you like? Is it that you would like someone but are unsure about where to meet them? Don't rush to meet someone, but go to places where you're likely to meet a good sampling of guys and hopefully you'll find people there with common interests, a youth group, for example. Just enjoy your hobbies and be yourself, you're likely to meet someone when you're not looking. :)

Well it dont matter, why should it? If you enjoy doing something, who is too say if its right or not. As long as it isnt dangarous or illigal in some way then i would think that you should do what makes you happy.

hope you beat the co-operative game with your dad.
