I want to hear from those who have went against what their churches teach and have had sex before marriage and have happy marriages. I'd like to hear why you went against what you are taught? I'd also like to know if you are happy with the decision you made? Did you ever feel guilty?

People used to hold off on sex before marriage but only with a lot of effort. And with a lot of help from later onset of puberty and earlier marriage ages.
Having said that, I also think that the current casual sex trend is wrecking us. We have gone from one extreme of no extramarital sex to the other extreme of absolutely no restrictions and too much permissiveness. It doesn't take a very big brain to realize that we would be better off pointing toward the middle.

Yes, I did (and still do). I went against what I was tought because I wans't ready for marriage by a long shot (and am still not), but had that young guy urge. I'm happy, and I never felt guilty because I'm not perfect, and nobody alive is perfect. I'm sure there are worse things than sex before marriage.
