A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear ,cupid

I recently met a guy and he an I were kicking it off really well

We got to point of where we can tell each other anything in just one month.

But he lives 5000 miles away and when visited him on vacation he offered to take me out to lunch and places.

He also offered to buy me a webcam so we can videochat.

After three weeks we talked a llittle but then I decided I was hurting myself for liking someone so far away and possibly someone who doesnt like me back.

So I started avoiding him everytime i talked to him and i finally told him we couldnt talk as much and after that talk he told many people that he knew that I liked him but in a few weeks he started talking to my friend and now they are dating I still haven't talked to him since a month ago.

My question is did he like me ?

Is he using my friend for a rebound?

And what should I do about this whole situation?

Lola1 agony auntWell, you sort of put him back on the market, so I would move on. I question the value of a friendship where people go out with someone a friend was interested in or dating, but that's up to you.

Aside from that I recommend you move on. The "What-ifs" and "Did-hes" aren't something anyone hear can answer, not having known him and aren't really important. Wondering about them prevents you from moving forward.
