Did I take my jesting too far with her?

A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend and I went to this pool party (I live in Australia) with some our friends. My girlfriend never let me see her breasts (because of a scar on one) and she thinks it might turn me off. Anyway we were in the pool making out until my very (very) drunk friend pulled her bikini top. To make matters worse for her, my other friend got it on video. It was really funny for me and my friends. But I am guilty not covering her or getting her top. Her friend had to get it for her because I was to busy laughing (and giving her a hard time too). She made me take her home as a joke I said "you should really get breast implants, I couldn't even see them". She got all pissed off and went insane on me then called me something I can't even repeat. She hasn't spoken to me since. Did I take it too far?

Yes you did, that was very mean and not boyfriend like, you were a jerk. But you should apologize to her and try to talk things over and tell her that she's beautiful, get her a gift, take her out. Girls are very emotional and i dont know why men dont get that through their heads. Be careful about what you say to her is all I can say.

I carnt say I disagree with any of their comments but this site is supposed t help

You f*#ked up and you have to make up with her, mabye explain you were drunk

And you are constantly thinking about how to make it up to her and you have concluded you carnt

And if she wants to end it that's okay and if you want more thinking time that's okay

If she wants to give you another chance man your going to have to be her lil bitch for a lonnnnng time

Good luck

I think the fact you are questioning "did I go to far?" shows deep down you know you have.

It was cruel that you didn't stand up for her but even meaner you made those comments. Has your friend deleted the video? If not make sure he does. I think the only thing you can do is say sorry and try your best to make it up to her but I can imagine that it will take a long time for her to get over this.

What if she dumps you, and tells everyone you have a small package. Please think better next time before you say something like this.

SirenaBlusera agony auntYou're asking us if you went too far?

I think that you know the answer to this.

Britt 429 is right:

"It's funny, because it didn't happen to me."

I can tell that you were drinking, which you have no business doing, I think in Australia you have to be 18??

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

Not only are you not supposed to be drinking, you don't sound mature enough to be doing it. Frankly you don't sound mature enough to have a girlfriend. Any girl deserves better than that.

In Female-ese, "Your breasts are too small, get implants" translates into English as "please kick my ass."

You're lucky she didn't do just that.

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 February 2009):

What do you think??? She was humiliated at the party and then you kept it up on the way home and really insulted her by what you said!

Instead of saying something like "they're beautiful, Babe." You tell her she should get implants???

Put yourself in her position. What if someone pulled your bathing trunks down and she laughed at you and insulted the size of your penis...I don't think you would be laughing! It's going to take a lot of effort to make this up to her, that is, if she ever speaks to you again!

Well, I think you did! You cannot, under any circumstances say a girl needs bigger breasts. It makes her feel like she's not good enough. Girls have bigger emotions than most guys. It probably hurt her. It would hurt me. Just try making something up for it. Like show or say something that's embarrassing about you so she doesn't feel as bad about herself.

anoms agony auntouch dude, yes you took it to far when you didnt get her a towel! but laughing and mentioning breast implants, i bet she's realy realy hert, if she couldnt show herself to you before then this has probably realy set her self-esteem back, if she lets you back in then you got alot of kissing up to do, gudluk.

megan melevolant agony auntyep you sure did

all girls are very body conscious

and all they want if someone to say they look good

and to hear summat so hurtfull coming from someone you love

it would have really really upset her.

Even if she does have little breast you dont say it to her

or you say you prefer smaller breast or summat

just try and say sorry and cover up for what you did.
