He said "Oh, what a nice thing to say, thank you". I wanted to say more but stay still and quite. We kept quite until I said bye, so did he. What the heck happened there? We are old enough to stop playing games, so?

my name is debasish and i am a psychologist.the thing which happened with you was perfectly normal.you see we are social animal and we are expected to conform to social norms .In this process we repress our many feelings only to satisfy our ego to prove ourselves as a social animal.but what happens when we are quite adjusted to the society, and suddenly the lost link gets connected we becomes a little moderate and tries to experience the missing link.Till here it is perfectly normal.but if the present social conditions are not very favourable and memorable, we tend to bend towards the missing link. And thus there are chances we fall into well.In this case have patience, have a quick assess between what you have / havenots and what yoy may gain or loose and then accordingly make a decision.I am sure it will be a wiser one.
