writes:I like a guy and we had this stupid fight. We stopped talking to each other for a while and I just heard from people that he had a gf.But then I catch him staring/glancing (even before he had a gf) at me with those sparkles in his eyes. And he always try to show-off around me but I get too flustered to meet his stare, but when I do, he looks away with a smile on his face.And then he randomly and jokingly said "I love you" to me and hugged me. Thinking that he was just joking and playing around, I said "Well I don't" in an emotionless voice. He froze.What should I do? I'm quite obsessed with him. And him having a gf is really hurting me. I've tried moving on but he keeps on staring and its making it all harder. Help!

reader, anonymous, writes (3 April 2009): im kinda in the same situation as you. loads of people have tried to tell me that maybe he doesnt feel the same way that i feel about him, but at the end of the day you just have to go with what you feel.has he still got a gf? if not then maybe you could talk to him about how you feel.if he has got a gf though, you might want to leave things. see how things end up after a few weeks/months and then think again. would you still like him after a few months?
