writes: Hi, so me and this college girl a couple years younger than myself did the long distance thing for the past couple of months. We texted, facebooked, phoned everynow and then, and visited eachother a few times. Things seemed to be good. Well, last week she texted me that she didn't want to get too attached and she ended things. Well I am a lot more into this girl than I thought - this really sucks. I'm very distraught. I told her I didn't feel the same way as her, but I couldn't do much by text and so I haven't talked to her for a couple days. I was going to wait about a week to contact her, but I sent her the text today: "Hey, so I realize you could be a little intimidated by the my last name charm, but I thought you might tell me how you're enjoying your weekend." I thought this was a little playful and low key, just asking her how her weekend was, but she hasn't responded just yet.Yes, I KNOW I am way overanalyzing everything I do at this point, but was it too soon to send her a text AND did I come on too strong and obvious? Thanks so much in advance!

don't even worry about it- over analyzing doesn't get u anywhere. trust I've been there and it just puts u down. and if u want to u shud be honest with her (that is of course, if u really like her) tell her how ur kinda interesed in her and how u wud like to take it a step further but if I were u I wouldn't do that through a text and if ur relationship isn't strong enough don't do it face-to-face cuz she might get a "psycho vibe". call her and let her know
