My best friends sister started to kiss me and I didn't stop her at first and before anything else happened, I stopped her after maybe 5 or 10 seconds. I realized she was really drunk and let her have my bedroom with a friend of hers and i slept on my couch. I don't want to embarass her but i have to admit, she was cute, and at the time, I thought what I did was fine. This was a year ago. I never told my best friend and niether did she. She's now engaged and having a kid with someone she started dating the week after this happened with me. Did I break a code of men? Did i do something wrong not telling my best friend? I figured if he asked, I'd tell him, but if he didn't, it was one of the don't bring up something that has no bearing on today. If she started to like me or something, i would've told him. Did i do the right thing?

Nah, you didn't break a man code. Quite the contrary - you protected her honor and you didn't take advantage of her. I'm assuming you didn't have a girlfriend of your own at the time? You didn't mention one.
What you did, in my opinion, makes you a real man.
