Before the exam, i told him i could tutor him; he agreed( I just wanted to help him out) ONe night he sent me a text message and said"I miss you". I asked him about that, but he said he didnt say that and he must have sent me a wrong message. I wonder why he didn't know he sent me a wrong message( he can check in the outbox of hix cell phone)He told me that he had a gf and said that I should not love him and i should find so smarter than him( i tutor him in class)is it just a wrong message or he's testing me?

Or are you hoping that he actually meant the message for you? Do you want there to be more then friendship?
Has he given you any other indications or is it only the text message?

He wants to see if you think he is smart enough for you. If you like him, tell him that there is no one besides him, smarter or not, that you want to be with. If he's interested, let the chips fall where they may.....
