Did he mean it when he told me he loves me?

A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend [17] and I [16] have been dating for 3 months. Last night, on a double date, he told me he loved me. I'm almost certain he meant it, but I worry that he was just doing it so I'd kiss him (I wouldn't as we were near the other couple). I've never known him to be insincere, and he seemed content with just holding my hand for the rest of movie. Am I over-analyzing?

nikandme agony auntim 14, male,

give him a while to show you. it can be very very hard for a guy to show that he loves a girl. i know this becouse i am there.

watch his every move. and make sure he is not just trieng to get in you'r pants. but then again he is 17. so he is more then likely somwhat mature. ask him some question's see if he listens to you. and then in a week or so ask him them again. and if he get's them right he listen's. and that is a good sign.

is he RESPECTFUL? IS HE RESPONSIBLE? IS HE GOOD TO YOU? IF HE IS ALL THESE.

He probably does love you. Maybe you are overanalyzing but I used to be just like you when I was your age. I don't know why cause I am so different now. I was just a very insecure teen.

Just accept that you are beautiful and that you have great qualities. And why wouldn't he love you?? Of course he does.

devonique agony auntI'm 14 and you might not care what I say since I'm younger then you but...

He probably did mean it because there are many stages of love and at any age I believe a person can experiance the stages of love. He may not be completly in love with because at any time feeling can change. Just wait and see how he treats the next couple days or weeks and if he treats you goo and RESPECTFULLY then it could mean he meant it

My mama told me:

"When you are young if when you truly love bcause you don't fully love yourself and can give your whole heart to someone."

Hope my advice helps

he could have you never know what is really going on in a guys head usually people may tell you not to pay attention to a guy if he tell you he loves you too soon as for me and my boyfriend he told me he loved me like really early....given we talked about everything and opened up to each other right away which made me love him too we have been together for almost a year and a half....neways it could mean he is serious it is good he is content just holding your hand just make sure he doesnt try getting more than he is given and take it slow this may be the real thing just remember to follow your heart but use your brain....good luck!!
