Did he like me for who I am, or only for my pictures?

Question - (14 June 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 14 June 2011)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I joined a social site and it's not for dating or anything. I thought it would just be for fun and to see what it's like. I eventually met this guy I like. I realize now I should have told him right away. The girl I used is Beautiful like 10 or 11 out of 10.

When he found out he was really upset, plus he found out from another girl. I decided to show him some pics of me BUT they were older, I wasn't looking my best and I look different and much better now. Well I sent him some notes with those older pictures of me

Then I saw him talking about me on his page with one of his friends talking about what I had sent to him. He was like omg you won't believe what that fake girl sent me. I'm not sure if he was referring to the pictures or notes I sent him apologizing etc.

Now I did not send him My new, real best more recent pictures because I kind of want to test him and see if he likes me for me........or just the pictures

What do you think, is this a good idea?

Honeypie agony auntNope leave him be. He has already made his mind up about you. And not in a good way.

Take it as a learning experience. NEVER use another girl's picture and pass it off as you. Don't pretend to be someone you obviously are not.

If you want him to see it, I would post it on your own page, but not "inform" him of it.

aunt honesty agony auntNo sweetie it is not a good idea. Even if he did like you more than just looks you have broke his trust now and he is not going to believe any word that you say any more. See that's the worst about social networking sites people can pretend to be someone that they are not, the best thing that you can do now is be yourself. Don't use anybody else's pictures except your own and learn from your mistake. Never pretend to be someone else, always be yourself darling.
