A few weeks ago I was away for the night and when I got back I found porn sites on his computer history. He said he didn't look at anything, and that it's a virus. It's never happened before and since then has never happened. Is he telling the truth? Are there viruses which can do that?!

Second, I believe the bigger issues are: why has he been of "physical stuff" (if by that you mean, he hasn't been interested in sex), and why did he feel it wasn't safe to just be honest with you. Something is going on here... and it's a lot bigger than whether or not he looked at some porn. (He did.)

Your boyfriend has told you a fib. I'm not sure why he felt he had to lie about the porn but it's best you guys talk about it and set up the boundaries that you both feel comfortable about.

If there are porn sites within the computer history then these are sites your boyfriend has clicked on and ventured in to. If there has not been any since, it could well be is remembering to delete them after he finishes a session on the internet which also can be done. Computers only do what the user instructs it to do - yeah viruses get on but they dont do things such as add sites to history! Sorry if thats not want you wanted to hear but at least you know.

I work in IT, and unfornately this is not the truth. There is no such virus that will autofill the Internet history with such info.
Additionally looking at such sites is something many, many people look at. And personally I do not think this should cause a rift.
