yes i am also a black girl 17 who had stretch marks on my bum, thighs, front & back of my arms, hips, back of my legs and some on my knees. Now dont tell me that you got it that bad. Ive had them since i was 12. When i was 14 i started doing football, drinking lots of water, used cocoa butter and sit ups. My stomach became toned and the stretch marks on my hips went away along with some on my bum. However i stopped football and my sit-ups and using cocoa butter and they all came back but worse. Therefore i suggested that tighten ur skin by toning up and excersize helps with water and cocoa butter. I done football again now my legs are toned and all the stretch marks on my legs are gone. Some on my arms are gone by toning my arms. I know it was long to read, i dunno what done it but im suggesting cocoa butter palmers, water, excersize and toning up will help to fade them. if you take ur had and pull ur skin apart you will find the stretch marks are less noticable. When you tone up n tighten ur skin im suggestin this is what happens. The light stretch marks are still noticable but less noticable than before. theres still work to be done. Its long but i hop it helps. Oh yea it took the ones on my legs 6 months to fade by excersizing once a week and doing the others daily.

If you don't think laser surgey can help remove stretch a marks, read this: http://www.middletoncosmetic.com/scars_stretchmarks.html. And as for affording it at age 15, I didn't mean that you'd do it now, but later when you are done growing and can afford it.

xLEAHx agony auntHi Anon,

The bad news is there is no way of getting rid of stretchmarks..the good news is ..that your not alone 90 % of girls and women have them ,i know your young and its not fair but you having stretchmarks at an early age mainly on your breasts is proberly to do with your menstral cycle during the month some girls/women get water retention which makes our stomaches and breasts swell and feel tender ..so by them swelling and then going back to thier orriginal size is causing the stretchmarks..thier are creams and lotions you can get to help hide stretchmarks and to help preventing further more...

I dont think there is really a way to get rid of stretchmarks, but over time they will become almost invisible. I can sympathise with you I've had strecthmarks as long as I can remember!.

But if you moisturise well they do lighten up so that they are hardly visible, and moisturising acctually helps the skin by more elastic so that your less likely to get more stretchmarks. (I would reccomend coccoa butter based moisturisers they are the best)
