Dating woes ... is it always awkward or do you "click" right off the bat?

Question - (5 April 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 April 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm inexperienced dating but I met this guy online (2nd time) a couple days ago. He's nice, smart, reasonably attractive and he likes a lot of the things I do.

But it was *so* difficult conversationally and I felt like I had to do a lot of talking. When I didn't say much, he would say ask random questions- like what is my humor like.

I don't know- should I go out with him again? I just felt like it so awkward.

And... for dating in general... is it always awkward or should keep searching for that one person that I can really click with right off the bat?

Well, us guys are told by great pick up artists not to speak ourselfves too much on first dates (let the lady talk). I think you should go on second date and see what happens. He may be shy too.
