That is as wrong as two boys in a bath tub. I went through this myself recently. No matter what she says fellings for him will come back to the surface if she sees you with him or if you guys hang out as a group. You can do it if you feel it is right but dont be surprised if you lose a friend over it.

It sounds like your best friend has moved on with her life and has no feelings for this fellow. If she did, you would definitely know about it as best friends tend to share there innermost feelings with each other. I would also think if your best friend gave you her 'blessing' for you to go ahead and date him, personally, I can't see why you shouldn't date him. People are not other people's property. It sounds likely she won't get mad but if she does, you may have to remind her that he's a free agent and no one should ever claim 'ownership' on another person's life. I say...go for it. Just let her know what's going on. Being honest with her is best! Take Care and good luck.
