Have a look at things in your local area like events like fairs etc. Also try to think of something creative although the cinema and town is a good start if you havnt been on a date for a while. Maybe look at her hobbies and see if there anything like that going on. Also try not to get into the you choose no you choose thing as most girls wont tell you what they really want to doe.g my sisters going on a date to the cinema the week and it's with an older guy so she doesn't want to make any wrong moves but she would have rather done something more active (she likes snowsports so she wanted to go to the snowdome for something)

cupidus agony auntI always find mini putt is quiet enough to talk, simple, takes about 30 minutes to play and gives your hands something to do. Is not too expensive.

Also when playing any sport, even silly mini putt, you get a fair idea about people in general.

If all goes well ask her out again, or go for ice cream or something.

Do anything that can make her laugh... Go to the movies and look for a comedy, go to bowling, paintball would be even better...

If you have some extra money you could buy her flowers or some candy it would be a nice suprise for her. And you could go to a park or a movie. Or if theres any other fun places near you? You could try some thig new togather. Or just ask her if theres a place she had in mind or some where she always wanted to go. Hope this helps some :)
