writes:Hi my dilemma is from the fact that I found out my girlfriend cheated on me. However there is a catch to it! As my girlfriend was checking her mail and forgot to sign out, I being nosy and completely in the wrong decided to read some of her emails. I discovered that she had cheated on me and she openly admitted to really liking this other guy in the email to her friend. My girlfriend has never mentioned this to me, what should I do; how can I get her to tell me the truth???

reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2009): well i would have to let her know that i knew, yes maybe you were wrong to snoop into her emails, but what you found certainly is worse. Its your choice but if you do not say anything, then how are you going to carry on and pretend all is well?. Get it out into the open.
