A female age , anonymous writes:

I am a manager at my college and have a serious crush on my Principal. He is so warm and apporpachable. He is in his fifties but I think he is handsome. whenever he sees me he double takes me. I feel there is a mutural attraction there.

I would like to get to know him better but I just feel he is too high for me. He is 4 levels higher than me. Am i worthy?

I am feeling a little vulnerable at the moment and just want someone to hold me and tell me its OK. This crush has been for over a year and wont go away.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (2 December 2009):

If either or you are married, don't approach him. I say that because it could really complicate things.

However, if you're both not, then there is no reason why you can't talk to him. So what if he's got 4 A levels?

I think also, from reading your post, that you need to look at your self esteem. You don't seem to have much, so maybe look at your own life and try to build up your confidence again before going to him, so he knows you're strong and not going to cling.
