I read the best way to increase pushups is to increase both strength(Few Reps with heavy weight) and endurance(high reps). I've been using a 35 lb backpack to do pushups atleast twice every other day(for 12 reps) and about 200 regular pushups in sets of 35-40. I began to encounter a cracking sound in shoulders but that sort of subsided and lately I feel pain in my right shoulder only to the point where it hurts a bit just to raise it. I decided to stop for 2 days but the pain remains. Any suggestions/comments/or concerns would be helpful. Please keep in mind I want to continue doing pushups. If it helps, I'm not very large(5:7, 115) and can support body weight easily. Reply to this Question Share |

First of all you should talk to someone about those sounds but if you want pain relief or even something that seems to be fixing tissues and muscles you should check this out http://the-problemsolvers.com/673792/products/y-ageLifewave patches, have you heard of them ?just email me if you want more info here at DearCupid.

You really need to see a doctor about this, it would be irresponsible for somebody on here to tell you whats wrong without being medically trained.
