writes:ok so me an my boyfriend had unprotected sex a couple times last month, but im on the pill and faithfully take it everyday. He also pulled out but now my period is about 3 days late and im starting to get worried. Whats the chances I could be pregnant? And on top of that im 15 my boyfriend is 19 my parents love him to death but they dont know we're having sex. Could they put him in jail if I'm pregnant can i stop it?

dependent on how long you took for it is very reliiable you know being in your situation before i know it is very scary dont worry , leave it a couple of days the pill can some times mess with your cycle but if not you should get help and you cant leave it to late! im here if u need to tlk

 I just read that you were on the pill...somehow I missed that before. It's great that you're being responsible when it comes to sex (!!!) - so many people are not and take unnecessary risks.
It's very unlikely that you're pregnant in that case. Perhaps you're just stressing over something. Lots of things can play an important factor in the regularity of your cycle. Here's a website that lists possible causes of late periods:

That being said, it's still possible to get pregnant while on the pill, so do still take that pregnancy test. (Your bc should state how effective it is - should be around 97 - 99% effective for most.)

Hi hoopchick,
Before getting all worried, go get a pregnancy test and take it. If you feel more comfortable, get a couple if you feel like you should double check the results. It's also better to get a test that says "Pregnant" or "Not-Pregnant" vs showing you lines (which are harder to read).
I think that you should also talk to your doctor about getting on birth control if you aren't going to be using condoms in the future. You could always go to Planned Parenthood (check their website for locations) and get birth control and speak to a doctor about protection, as well. (You can get the pill for super cheap, for free, and without insurance there.)
If you are pregnant and your parents press charges, then I'm sorry, but yes - your boyfriend could land in jail. Even if you weren't pregnant, then they could press charges against him for having sex with you since you're a minor and their daughter.
But like I said - don't get all worked up over this right now. Take the pregnancy test. If you are negative then good - make a doctor appoint to see about other methods of contraception.

If you want, you can talk to another close relative or another adult. That person can help you figure out how to break the news with your family and even be there for support with you when you tell your parents.
