I started spotting today, just barely. I am kinda worried. I think that pregnancy cannot happen that quickly but can it? I mean could it be implantation spotting? I have a child, but Ive never had this happen and I'd just like to know what you guys think?!? Please help me. Thank you! Reply to this Question Share |

If you only had sex yesterday you can't possibly be pregnant yet. If you're worried because you had unprotected sex and want to avoid pregnancy go to you doctor as soon as possible to get the morning-after pill. You can take it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.
Implantation bleeding happens when the fertilised egg makes it's way down the fallopian tube and implants into the uterus (womb) wall. It takes approximately 10 -15 days for a fertilised egg to travel this distance so if you only had sex yesterday it won't be that.
Some women lose a few spots of blood at the time of ovulation. This is completely normal. Bear in mind, if you didn't use a condom, that this means that you had sex during your most fertile time.
If you've had a period of sexual inactivity recently, your cervix could have been a bit grazed by the new experience. Some women bleed a little after deep penetrating positions for the same reason. If it's just spotting I wouldn't worry about anything except getting the morning after pill (if that's what you need)
Go to you doctor if spotting becomes a regular occurence
