It is really irritating and we are just wondering what this could possibly be. We are assuming a yeast infection but we didn't think you could get that while on a period. But, how would I know? reader, anonymous, writes (4 July 2010): this is actually pretty common. It could be a yeast infection, or it could be a bladder/kidney/or urinary tract infection.(they all pretty much present the same) a simple urinalysis at the doctor will tell you, and a round of antibiotics will fix it. she should see a doctor.I just found out this week that i had a bladder infection, and it is a simple matter of 2 pills a day for 7 days. It cost 24.00 dollars. so its not a really big deal to take care of. just remember we are all guessing, and we are not medical doctors, therefore we cannot diagnose your wife. she should see a doctor. :) mal
