She's on birth control and that usually is enough to keep someone from getting pregnant, but if you have a condom why not use it to make sure you are protecting yourself the best you can, right? Well she didn't do that and hasn't done that for a month or two now, but has only slept with two guys. Her now ex boyfriend and her friend. A week ago was the last time she had sex but it was with her friend. Before that it was with her ex who was her boyfriend at the time. The last time they had sex was about 6 and a half weeks ago. The past four days she has woken up felt dizzy and faint and thrown up in the toilet, not a lot though, and then felt completly fine for the rest of the day. She smokes weed occasionaly and drinks, but not sooo sooo much, but both of which probably mess with birth control. Do you think she is pregnant? We will buy the pregnancy test on Friday..i just want some of your oppinions.

Hi, you seem like a good friend to her! I know that she might think being on contraceptive pills is enough for protection, but she also needs protection from sexually transmitted diseases too, and the pill does NOT protect against those. There are loads of people out there infected who don't even know it, and some of the infections have long-term health consequences. So always, always use a condom too.
Another worrying thing is the drinking and the weed, especially if she is in the age range indicated (13-15). It's illegal, of course, but it also leads to impaired judgement which can mean that she's making stupid decisions...
You can't control her behavior but you can let her know that you care about her well-being and that she should be taking much better care of her body and her health.
Good luck with the test, and let us know how it goes.

Vomitting usually passes within two days, so she should definitly see a doctor if the test turns out to be negative.Hasnt she mentioned her periods and whether shes missed one yet? She should also look out for tiredness and breast tenderness. As with any contraception, there is no 100% you wont get pregnant.Everyone makes mistakes, however hopefully this experience will shock her into using extra contraception in future.Let me know how it goes xxx
