It is unlikely that you are pregnant, but if you have not been having your periods, you should see your doctor about the problem anyway. It could be that you are suffering from a phantom pregnany, where you believe yourself to be pregnant to the extent that you start getting pregnancy symptoms. There are other reasons why your menstrual cycle might be disrupted, for example due to extreme stress.

If a test says you ARE pregnant, then you are; if it says you're not, there is always a chance it is not showing right. The worries you have can cause and increase the symptoms you have, but this is too serious to not go back again to the doctor's office. Tell them everything over again and if they still say you are not pregnant, then stand your ground and ask them what else it can be that causes these problems you're having. Tell them that if you are not pregnant, you still need help for the symptoms you are showing. Don't leave the office until you feel they have given you the help you need. Do you have a big sister or someone else that you can trust who can come with you?
Best wishes!

I'm 17, and just took a test on wednesday and it was positive and I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and Doctors on Monday. I think it might be all in your mind, I have had sore boobs, stomach craps and feeling sick not being sick. They should be testing you for other stuff if it is so late because it may be a cyst on your ovaries which can be mistaken for pregnancy symptoms I think [sorry if I'm wrong].The chances you are pregnant are extremely low because a blood test would definately show any HGC levels even if it was 1 [it's the pregnancy hormone]. And for me being 6 weeks, both pregnancy tests showed up within seconds positive. Talk to your Doctor, he will know best but tell him you do feel pregnant he might even do a scan to see if there is a baby there or to see if anything else is wrong.Good Luck

Well it certainly sounds like pregnancy symptons. A home pregnancy test coming back negative when really you are pregnant would probably happen in the very early stages, i.e. before your period is due, it seems strange that you have had this happen with a doctor's test too. I would go back to the doctor and explain all of this and get him to run more tests, he needs to examine you throughly, maybe book a scan too. A scan will show straight away if you are pregnant. Good luck.
