But now that you have had unprotected sex do not worry yourself sick. My ex slept with a prostitute (notice I said ex). He did use a condom. But he was so stressed out that he started having psychological illnesses. He went and got tested all the time. Lucky for us both he didn't catch anything. We did learn a lot during this time. There is a window period of six months before HIV can actually show up. Do what the other reader suggested and get tested in two weeks. Then I would do it again in three months. Then in six months again. Please for yourself learn about the risks of HIV infection. Always use a condom. Keep one with you at all times in case it gets "just too hot to handle." Also please do not put anyone else in the same situation as you and go get tested....Good luck.

I'm sorry, I didn't read your question correctly - you cannot get any diseases if he does not have any.Early symptoms of exposure to hiv are flu-like symptoms - but don't freak out if you do experience it because you could be psychologically giving yourself symptoms or happen to catch a cold.Just get tested in a couple of weeks and again in six months and in the meantime ask the guy about his complete sexual history and if and when he's been tested.

Yes. Yes! You can get something with unprotected sex and the risk is even higher if there is any breakage and blood. Don't ever have sex unprotected again unless you are in a monogamous relationship with a partner you can trust and you both have been tested for HIV. You should ask the guy you were with what his sexual history was, if he's had unprotected sex or has ever been tested. According to the site below if you do have anything it would show up on a test anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months maximum after exposure and there's more information about oral sex -you can get HIV through that too- and other STDs. If you are ever tempted to do something without protection in the future just remember how worried you are about it now. So don't do it again!http://www.cdphe.state.co.us/dc/HIVandSTD/fieldservfaq.html#howlong

I think you can get sti's from anal, I'm pretty sure infact. You can go to your doctors and get tested to set your mind at ease. I certain you can get aids but unsure of about anything else.
