writes: Im about 3-5 days late. I've been having mild cramps, mild headaches, mild backaches and my nipples are tender. On and off. But my friend told me that when you are pregnant your cervics get hard. This is kinda gross but i stuck my finger inside and pushed back a little bit and something was rock hard! i dont know what to think about it. Could i be pregnant or is my waterfall just playin tricks on me?

rockhard could just be poop in the rectum (not to be gross but that's what it sounds like) unless you're an ob-gym i doubt you can feel cervix changes. tender nipples are usually a sign but yeah maybe start taking vitamins and wait to see?

reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2008): The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. Get one of the more sensitive ones, that you can use within a few days of your period being late.
Have you had unprotected sex lately?
But try not to worry, the mroe you stress about it, the less likely you are to get your period!
