writes:ok...my question is i'm wondering could i be pregnant, the last time i had sex was on aug.8 and we used protection, and on aug.14 i went and had my first pap smear so i could birth control pills, and i was tested for pregnancy..etc..everything was negative, and like last week i took a home pregnancy test and it was negative, i usually get my period the last of everything month, but havent got it,so could i be pregnant..plz answer!

reader, anonymous, writes (1 September 2008): no ur prob not pregnant. If u just started birth control your period will be messed up for a while. thats what happened to me.. give it a week and if still nothing then go back to the doc to check it out

 You've had a lot of tests that have resulted negative. So don't worry - you've taken a lot of care over this. Your period may have just come naturally late. Give it a further week then make an appointment to see your doctor.
