A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *emmaAlice writes:

I came of my period Saturday 26th July, On Monday 4th August and throughout that week I had unprotected sex.

I'm due on Monday 25th, roughly then.

All last week I began to get symptoms of pregnancy

1: Increased urination

2: Bloating

3: Cramps

4: Tiredness

5: an increase in vaginal discharge

6: some blood for just 2days, not like my period at all.

I've also had an increase in wanting to eat, even when i'm not hungry I'm in the mood to eat.

I took 2 pregnancy tests but they returned negative...Although it is probably too early to be doing them anyway.

I feel sick and hungry at teh same time sometimes

and nod off really easily, when it usually takes me about half an hour or so to fall asleep.

Do you think I could be pregnant?

The last time we finished unprotected sex was thursday, and it was exactly a week later that i had some bleeding. it started very light, increased a little more then finished.

GemmaAlice agony auntOff course, I just meant to say that I really appreciate every bodies comments, if it sounded a little snappy I never meant for it too.

This is all really helping me, so thanks again :)

GemmaAlice agony auntHi got an update for everybody.

I miss calculated my period, I'm meant to be on today, My mum has come on hers and i am always on bout a day before her. She says she's on time the exact 28days.

I was doing morning after pill research and stumbled across an article about the pill I took.

"for example, like me you may experience some irregular bleeding when your period isn’t due. I sought advice from my doctor who told me this was quite normal and if my period didn’t arrive I was to go back to him."

This is something I've experienced, but I haven't come on, and I was due I think about yesterday. Still time though.

another thing I'm annoyed about is this

I did a little of research on this one and found the following out;

· It is more than 3 days (72 hours) since you had unprotected sex;

· Your period is late;

· You also had unprotected sex earlier on in your menstrual cycle (since your last period);

If you have or have suffered any of the above, you should NOT take Levonelle.

There's lots more but I left in what applies to me.

The earliest unprotected sex was had to my period, was one week after i finished. I'm not sure if the 3 bullet point applies to me or not, but the other 2 do. the first one for deffinate but the second one... only slightly so far.

Any thoughts?

GemmaAlice agony auntI appreciate what is being said, but it's not like that, we both new what we were doing, and he hasn't blamed anything on me, he's said "takes two to tango" he's a great guy I've known him for a while now.

I hadn't suspected pregnancy at all, all they said was if i get a period that's different then take a test

but I'm not due on yet so.

and no I only started to feel a bit sick today, got a little light headedness as well, my boobs have got a LOT bigger now too, because like my favourite bra doesn't fit me properly now, where as it used to fit almost perfectly, was a tiny bit big, but now I've got a cleavage I never knew I could have haha.

the guy has been great and he's there for me, so that's all cool, its not something I'm worried about as I want to keep it, I know that's silly but, it's my choice to make, and it's then my choice to live with, and I am 100% on it. I just thought I'd get a broader opinion on the situation.

GemmaAlice agony auntOh just an update, on the Thursday, I went for the pill, obviously I couldn't get the 72hour pill, but i went to a brooks clinic and they said that the tablet they had was a 5day after.

now I've never heard of this, but I took it... when I read the booklet later on that week, it said nothing about 5days, but only effective and a max of 3days, and only by something like 60% or something silly like that.

which I another reason why I wanted some advice :)

GemmaAlice agony auntThanks for the help.

It's silly, I have a lot. But I didn't think I'd need them in bristol

as I was just visiting my sister, nothing like this usually happens

but me and this guy are like... really..just like eachother.

But thanks again :)

Its possible because the test looks for a particular hormone which may not be present yet. i suggest u go down to a Brook clinic get tested (they'll take blood) and ask for some Condoms which are FREE for under 20's.
