writes:My dad found me with a guy making out in my truck. and now he doesn't let me do anything with out someone with me well me and this guy have had unprotected sex before and i haven't got my period this month and it really scares me because im not ready to be pregant and i know im stupid for not using protection. but could i be pregant? and how can i tell my mom and dad without my dad killing me or the guy ?? thanks bunchez

Take a home pregnancy test, or go to a pregnancy clinic, they will test you for free.I was in the same situationat 17 years old, my dad really didn't like the fact that i was sexually active..when i found out i was actually pregnant, i freakedin a way, i wanted the baby, but i was terrified to death to tell my parents..so, i told my aunt and one day we were all sitting in the living room (my parents, my boy n me, and my aunt) and it just slipped out..I told them, i had tothey freaked out, didn't talk to me for a couple of daysbut i was their little girl.. they didn't want anything bad for me..but they got over iti am about to have my baby in a couple of weeksand my parents couldn't be more supportive or happy about it.SO if you are pregnant, tell them. And then give them some space to think about it..IF not, and your not ready for a baby, then use protection or get on the pill.GOOD LUCK!xxx

 No Dad wants to find his teenage daughter getting it on...poor chap was probably traumatised! To him you will always be his little girl and he is just being protective. If you are old enough to be having sex, you are definitely old enough to think about sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy...another words, protecting yourself. First step is to find out if you are pregnant - most pharmacy tests are accurate from the day you have missed your first period, although some are even more sensitive. If you find out you are not, remember how stressed you felt about it and get yourself some contraception...or even get yourself a sexual partner who can stretch to classier locations than the back seat of a truck for a fumble. If you are pregnant, you need to seek medical advice to work out how far along you are and also decide on whether to keep the baby or seek a termination. You need family support if you are pregnant at your age and you just have to think if you were mature enough to have sex, you are mature enough to face up to Mum and Dad.
