Ok..This is going to be confusing, but I'll try my best to keep it all short for you guys..:) and girls, of course.

Ok..I'm in a relationship with a guy, we've been together for almost 6 years. Recently we were watching a movie about a woman who dressed, acted, and dated, like a man.

Which is fine, because I have no problem with that, but since seeing this movie I find myself watching it repeatedly..

And I find myself extremely attracted to this charecter even tho I know it's really a girl! I'll be watching it, suddenly imagine myself as the receiver of the affection from this girl, (dressed as a guy, mind you...)

and I have tosnap myself out of it, sort of like..convince myself that it's really a girl...

Somehow tho..that doesn't seem to matter to me at all...

I'm not sure what this means, why I feel this way...and where to go from here...

My BF thinks I'm crazy...but I expected that..:)

the worst part for me is that I kow it's nothing but a harmless fantasy, and I enjoy it for what it is, but I wonder if it means I could be bi, or something...

Any opinions are welcome..

thanks in advance

If you are referring to the Hilary Swank movie, I don't think you are even questioning your sexuality, I think Hilary did a very effecive job of making the viewer fall in love with her and really empathize with her character....it is called acting, and you were just taken in by her performance and her chracter.....you are an empathetic person and that is the crux of it.

DeeDoc agony auntTHESE ARE MY THOUGHTS: Honey, I know the movie you are talking about. Does it star Hillary Swank? If so, she made a beautiful young man. I know it sounds strange, but her role in the movie was based on a true story, sadly it ended in tragedy. But, she was so extremely convincing in playing her role. It seems quite normal because Hillary Swank is a fantastic actress, she fooled even you..haha. Just kiddin. I have to say for myself that I have watched the movie several times myself. But, I am happily married to a man and have no thoughts of being with a woman. You just have to sit back and look at if there are any thoughts besides the 'woman/man in this movie' of being with any OTHER women sexually. That would be the key. But, manOman, did she play a good role. So convincing. I hope this helps in some way. I hope you find your answer.

xx

d4u04 agony auntIt just sounds like you're questioning your sexuality, which is very normal. It doesn't mean you're bi neccassarily as I've known girls before claim they are bi, act on these feelings with women, then realise they are straight and it was just confusion at the time, it's up to you how you choose to deal with these feelings but don't let them worry you, if it is just a fantasy then you will be over it soon, if not, you can cross that bridge when you come to it :-) just don't let it stress you out, it's no big deal. It's very normal to feel the way you do
