Our interactions are usually in front of others, so if he was interested in me I know he wouldn't be too obvious about it. On the down side, I have to wonder if I'm reading into the little indicators I do notice! He's always very polite to me, seems interested in what I have to say. We share many interests/views. If I tell a joke, he is always one of the first (and loudest) to laugh or otherwise acknowledge it.It seems like he is constantly finding random reasons to high-five me, which is realistically all the physical contact I could expect from him in the workplace. I catch him looking at me fairly often, but then again I'm looking at him fairly often too. Recently he asked for a hug after a group of us from work all went out for coffee one evening. And finally, the other day I asked who was working at his place of employment over the next week or so, because I had to drop something off there. He went out of his way to tell me he was working a certain day, like he hoped I would show up that day. He's a few years older than I am, and definitely single, if that helps. Could he be interested in me as more than a friend, or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
