writes:I met this guy online... not on a dating site but on nexopia. He's cute, sweet, and funny (not to mention he has an AMAZING body). He makes me feel great about myself for the first time in a while.I was snooping his page looking at his friends list and stuff, and found out that about 85% of his "friends" are girls. Now I'm kinda nervous about it all.... could he be a player??

 i hate to say this to you hun, but i have had a lot of experience with people who make up fake profiles (in fact i am an admin on a site dedicated to getting rid of them) and it sounds to me like the pictures arent even him. its classic behaviour of someone who uploads pictures of a good looking guy - you say hes gorgeous and has an amazing personality, almost too good to be true wouldnt you say? and if it was really him then wouldnt most of his friends be the people you see in pictures with him and people he works with/ goes to school with / hangs out with? im actually really good at spotting a fake profile, and my instinct is screaming fake here. pm me if you would like me to help you figure him out ;-)
but i digress. to help with your question, if 85% of his friends are female then i would be inclined to think hes a player. he's using the website for attention from women (which he probably doesnt get much of in real life).
and the body shot thing, if it IS him, then he is not uploading those pictures for his guy friends to see or for people to look at and thing "hes a nice guy i wanna be his friend", he is doing it to attract women.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 September 2007): no... i haven't tried contacting any of them just in case he isn't a player and they tell him i was asking about him and it messes things up. and just something i thought i should add... he a few pictures of his face where he's being a goof and stuff, but there are quite a few (at least 4-5) shots that are just his abs. Being proud of your body is one thing, but isn't that just showing off and trying to get some attention? (from the chicks??)

Maybe he is a player and just trying to get stuff out of you but then again there is no reason why men cant be friends with girls have you tried contacting any of the girls on his profile to find out?
