Convincing my parents for a date.

A female United States age 30-35, *hbabycakesxx writes:

The guy I like has finally asked me out on a date. Now the only complication of things is with my parents. They're asian, so most who have asian parents are VERY strict. I'd basically have to beg for them to let me go to the mall, let alone with a GUY. I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do to make them understand I REALLY like this guy, and how to convince them to let me go on a date with him.

Haha well thanks.

But I found out that honesty is the best policy.

RAINORFIRE agony auntif shes to young to go on dates when should she start, you see this is a double edged sword in some societies the youth are reared up at a young age to kno what good quality partner will be. in others there just cast out at 18 and expected to make the rite decision regarding a partner.

I think a relation ship could do a young girl good withing certain parameters.

I suggest instead of dates out some where you aske them if he can come over for dinner, the next step is convincing them that your not gonna have sex and you understand the birds and the bees and all that stuff you might have to give them a lengthy speech if you can some get through to them and make them believe your not going to make them grand parents you might have a shot. dont forget to use the puppy dog face when you ask your parents if this guy can come over for dinner

You are very young to be going on dates but if you really want to see this guy why not have him pick you up and drop you home so that your parents can see what he's like. After all they are only trying to protect you. Maybe they will like him! Good luck.
