Question - (10 January 2008) 2 Answers - (Newest, 10 January 2008)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *ove-him writes:

Hii well i just wanted 2 ask everyone, especially the doctors on this site..

im on the contraceptive implant and i will be coming off it in september..

I dont have regular periods and when i do have a period it could last a month etc.. I will go onto the mini-pill straight away, once i have had my implanon removed.. but i need my periods to regulate because me and my boyfriend of nearly 2 years plan to concieve a child around my 18th birthday (17 in 3 weeks).

I would like to know, how can i regulate my periods, and how soon before should i stop the mini-pill in order to concieve a healthy child.

I know we are young but we both wish for a child, we have been together for a conciderable amount of time and also my boyfriend will be around 23 then and ready to settle down.. thanks to everyone :)
