I have been off work with a severe cold for a week, so I handed in my self certificate on the 7th day and on the eighth I made an appointment for the docs, couldn't get in until today, so, the doctor back dated it and gave me until the 11th off. (monday)What is causing me some confusion is when I am supposed to go back to work, that is if I don't need to request another sick note or fit note as they are called now.Is the 11th my last day off? Or is it the day I should return to work? I have had conflicting advice, two have said i have to return to work on the 11th and two have said I don't need to return until the 13th (wednesday) since the 12th (tuesday) is my usual day off.Oh gosh i am confusing myself even more lol Reply to this Question
