writes:Hey, I was just wondering if you can still get periods even light or short periods if there's a chance you might be pregnant? Back in January we used a condom but it split inside me and we didn't realise until after, but I took the morning after pill about 38hours after and had my period a week after. Recently we had to use a new condom halfway through intercourse but he hadn't come yet, so I didn't take the morning after pill this time. I still had my period a week after, but my periods seem to be shorter and lighter and I might be paranoid I think I look a bit fatter around my stomach. Could having taken the morning after pill the first time have affected my periods and is it worth taking a pregnancy test just to be 100% sure?
