writes: My boyfriend and I have been having sex for about two months now. We use a condom every time, no exceptions. But we are worried now because on one occasion about a month ago, we were having sex and the condom broke. He did not ejaculate, and since we both realized immediately that it had broken, he pulled out right away and got a new condom. We were quite dismayed when that one broke too! Third time was the charm, though, and after that, we continued without incident. That was three days after the end of my last period. Now I am four days late for my period this month and we're wondering what are the odds that I'm pregnant from that? We just went through midterm exams and that was pretty stressful...I heard stress can cause your period to be late? Can anyone offer me some input one way or the other on this?

You are extremely unlikely to conceive so soon after your period (you are most fertile about two weeks into your monthly cycle) and particularly as he did not ejaculate until you replaced the condom. I really wouldn't worry too much yet as this can effect your periods and make it even later. Try and put your mind at rest and if your period still hasn't arrived get a home test to stop you from panicing! Good luck

He may have had precum however and this can get you pregnant. Get a text, and also look into birthcontol pills or nuva ring as well as condoms as a super saftey precaution

I would suggest that you look into a new brand of condoms, take a pregnancy test, and get the morning after pill next time, which makes it so that you do not get pregnant.

Your right stress can be causing this but so can pregnancy.
Get a pregnancy test done or go to your doctors to have one done either way you need to know sooner rather than later as worrying about the what ifs won't do you any good.
Good luck :o)
