A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi, I am having an issue with this boy that I fancy. We are in theater together in town, and I really fancy him. We don't go to the same school. We are friends, so I asked him to a dance that was at my school and he said yes and it was a lot of fun. But, apparently another girl in the cast really fancies him and found out, and she was angry and upset and told some people. Now, weeks later, today I heard her talking about a semi formal dance that she has at her school. Today she brought in her dress for the dance and was flaunting it around in front of me and was talking to the boy about the dance and I discovered that she asked him! Then she was talking about it with him later when I was there, and I got really upset. And I feel like this is a very mean thing to do...I need help because I think this is unfair. I really love this boy and I don't want her to ruin it because she's so mean. Help, please!

First of all it's up to the boy to make his decision and trust me he'll choose the one with the best personality!!!!! Try not to breath down his neck or he'll get scared off ... Be flirty but not overly. tease him and show you have a great sense of humour - Guys love humour if he can laugh with you ,he can be with you. Ingnore the other girl - when she shows her dress off remark how lovely it is and that the colour will suit her greatly !!! The fact that you dnt see her as competetion will make her feel weak and you might find she'll back off !! Ask for the guys number and talk to him make the conversationslighty and fluffy so to say and never hide those feelings ! You might find him in your hands sooner than you think !!! Good Luck

hmmm, im in a situation like this, it can be so hard, you should arange to do some things with the boy, just you and him, or if you dont want to rush into the date thing ask him to meat up with you and some friends,

Because you dont go to the same school, it might be hard, but since you're friends just try and build a relationship with him, it sounds like the other girl just wants to show off, just be your self and have some fun,

Oh and dont go off at the other girl, i did that, it does not work =] lol

Hope that helped.

xxxXxxx

Good luck
