Hiya people, go on the above link. (It's just a recap of my last post) Anyway the thing is... I've taken aboard everything that has been said, and i feel quite childish now - She's a mate, and i don't know why i've taken the prezzie thing so seriously. But its my mum that i've gotta convince now! She demanded for me not to get her anything. I can't exactly sneak it behind her back cos shes always looking in my school bag, plus helps me with the wrapping! What can i say to her, to help her change her mind! I've got until tomorrow!

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (7 July 2008):

It says you are 16 to 17.

So you should be able to buy a present without your mum going mad.

But on the other hand you should be capable of handling wrapping paper. I mean for gods sake, you're old enough to join the army, surely you can use sellotape.

Tell your mum that you want to buy this gift and it's none of her business if you want to waste your money on someone.

Good Luck!! xx
