Everytime I find someone I like I always do something to ruin it or turn myself off them for some reason. I keep saying that I'm happy being single and am not ready for a relationship but everyone close to me are saying that I'm scared because my last relationship ended very ugly and my heart got broken. I know my friends and family just want to see me happy, but I dont know how to stop being this way and if anything is wrong with the way I am anyway? Reply to this Question Share |

You are defensive and you push people away before anyone has the opportunity to hurt you. In your mind, it may be what you expect it will happen everytime.
There is no magic way to stop being hurt again, allow yourself to be happy by learning to trust.
Being cautious is good, but you need to build your confidence again.
Only you can do that, be strong and stay positive. Life is to short so do not waste it by living in the past.
Good luck xxx

Well i am sure that nothing is wrong with you.i think maybe yo should just stop looking to be in a relationship and just let it come to you.A good way to accomplish getting your mind off of it would be to just focas on your favorite hobbies or just get more involved in work.Just something that could keep you accupied untill the right person comes along.
