To me it is possible. I have been in love with several women simultaneously at various points in my life--this does not mean I was intimate physically with them--rather I felt true romantic love for each. Currently I am married and I have a deep love and connection with my wife; I also have romantic love feelings for two other women right now! The feelings I have for the other women do not interfere with how I treat my wife. I am not pursuing these other women--I accept I will never be with them and that they will never know my feelings--however, I can't stop or control how I feel...

Jamer70 agony aunti agree with LJ001 i dont really think you can love more than 1 person at once truely, not the same way anyway.

In the case of exs i think its not the same as loving someone your in a relationship in.

But in certain cases like the passing of a loved one, i think you can

Apparently so, but I don't believe you can truly love 2 different people at the same time.

However, if you have a husband or wife whom you love dearly and you unexpectedly lose them (for example in a tragic car accident) and then a few years later, you find another love, then great! I believe this is the only real way you can love 2 people.

But true love means you are soul mates, and surely you only have one soul mate? Hmm I'm not sure, good question!

Personally I have not expereinced loving more then one parter at a time.

However, I have meet numerous people who have claimed to be in that situation!

misfitschik66 agony aunt when i broke up with my ex and got with my new boyfriend (which i had left him for) i was still in love with my ex but in love with my new boyfriend...

ive been with my new boyfriend for a year now i love him with all my heart (madly)

but i still find myself loving my ex

ill never truly get over him i don't think but i know i can't be with him i know this because i was with him for 3 and 1/2 years and he was just to difficult to live with but i love him to death

my ex has also told me that he loves his new girlfriend but he loves me too

so to answer your question.. yes you can love two people
