We ( me and my bf) couldn't figure out how I could have gotten pregnant, we were extra careful when It came to sex.
I was on the pill and he used a condom. That wasnt enough I guess cause 8 weeks later I was pregnant.
The only explanation I could give would be that the condom had a tiny hole in it. I knew birth control didnt work all the time and so we decided to use a condom for that extra protection.
I still believe our child was a gift from god and it was no mistake. I am happy to say it all worked out for the best and he is now a happy, hyper, little 8 month old baby boy name Carter.
I hope for the best for you too, If you are pregnant I hope it all is great news to come.

Yes you can fall pregnant if using a condom. Current statistics from the World Health Organisation are quoted below:"Estimated pregnancy rates during perfect use of condoms, that is for those who report using the method exactly as it should be used (correctly) and at every act of intercourse (consistently), is 3 percent at 12 months. The most frequently cited condom effectiveness rate is for typical use, which includes perfect and imperfect use (i.e. not used at every act of intercourse, or used incorrectly). The pregnancy rate during typical use can be much higher (10-14%) than for perfect use, but this is due primarily to inconsistent and incorrect use, not to condom failure. Condom failure – the device breaking or slipping off completely during intercourse – is uncommon."And this from the Mayo Clinic website"The breakage rate for condoms is two out of 100. Of every 100 couples who use condoms incorrectly and inconsistently, 15 will experience a pregnancy during the first year of use. Of every 100 couples who use condoms correctly and consistently, only two will experience a pregnancy."As yuu can see, if a condom is used properly, that is exactly as per the instructions then the risk is 2-3%. Get it wrong and the risk of falling pregnant jumps to 10-15%.Condoms should ideally be used with additiona means of contrception such as a spermicidal foam.Hope this helps.
