No you definitely can't fall pregnant while you have your period as this bleeding is actually your body expelling the unfertilised egg from your uterus. Ok I will explain the Billings Method.
Day 1-5 The days you have your period with day one as the first day that the blood appears.
Day 12 or so you may notice you are extra wet down there and over the next few days will notice a stringy discharge which is your mucous plug expelling from your body.
Day 14-18 Day 14 your ovaries have expelled an ova or egg which then travels from your falopian tube to your ovaries. THIS IS THE TIME WHEN YOU CAN GET PREGNANT.
So basically as sperm can live in the body for a day or so then if you have sex between day 13 and day 18 then you can fall pregnant. It's that simple.

Hi there
Let's just be clear- there is no time in the month when the chances of falling pregnant are non-existent.
Some women can have irregular bleeding therefore becoming confused as to when their proper period is. Also did you know that sperm can survive in the body between 2-3 days? They can hang on and wait for the right time for conception.
So please do not think that you are immune to becoming pregnant if you have your period. There is always a risk if you do not use protection.
Good luck!
