He told me he had never told another girl he loved her and I'm having a hard time believing that. He has dated someone for a year and a half and you can't be in a relationship like that and not say I love you can you? Please help! I don't want to be played like this.

It is possible, I've been in a relationship for almost a year, and me and my gf haven't 'said' I love you. Tho, we do text it to each other, we just don't add so much meaning to actually saying the words, you love each other or you don't. Simple as that, you don't always need to hear the words to know if you're boyfriend loves you or not, do you?If he doesn't his behaviour should be a major clue, unless of course he acts like he loves you in that case he's a player and doesn't care about you at all.So what I'm trying to say is, yes, it is possible you are the first he's said it to. I guess I'm just part of the group of people who don't really think saying the words is important.

Just be careful because he is a lot older than you and he might think that he can play with you. and it also depends on how long you have been together.
