Can they reject my procedure?

A female , anonymous writes:

i recently began treatment for my varicose veins..he did the upper thigh areas and now i want the lower veins treated. They said i can begin the process now or wait and give it time. I said i would rather begin the process sooner b/c i don't think it's going to heal all of my veins on my lower legs..i also informed them i may be switching jobs and i would rather begin a new job without having to take time off.

He then said that may cause a problem if its approved and i switch jobs and can't do the procedure. I then said no if it's approved and that does happen i would have to tell the company I HAVE to get this done.

I was trying to get the point across that i would just rather have this taken care of before any of that happens..

Can they reject my procedure due to them thinking i may not have the insurance for it or i may not go through with it? I was just trying to be honest and explain i would rather have this done with so i can heal but maybe they didn't get my point. Now i am nervous they are going to reject the procedure. Can they do this?

It sounds like it might be best to take care of your medical needs prior to a job change.

It sounds like your priority is getting this procedure done so it would be wise to hold off on any job changes until you are finished. Sometimes you can't have the best of both worlds and have to choose. I don't think a company would be too understanding about your need to get plastic surgery as opposed to taking off for something that was actually critical to your health.
