A female reader, Lovebunny Canada +, writes (27 June 2007):

Lovebunny agony auntSome or most will probley come out but there will still be some sperm that will go up and u could get pregnant, so please make sure that what ever guy u has sex with wears a condom. You could go on the pill, but that isn't 100% effective so what ever guy you has sex with you should still wear a comdom plus the pill don't protect you from std's . U could even buy the condom instead of depending on the guy to have one.If you does this explain to what ever guy your going to have sex with that its as much of your responablity to make sure that you and him has protection as it is his. The reason why You should tell him this if you buys a comdom is because he might take it the wrong way and think ur cheating or is the type who sleeps around.

Wild Thaing agony auntMy goodness, if birth control were as easy as letting gravity do the work then the contraceptive market would not exist!

If it's been less than 24 hours since you had unprotected sex and you DON'T want to get pregnant then go to your pharmacist / doctor right away and get a morning after pill. Like right now.

YummyMummy agony auntNot all of the sperm comes out but due to gravity some does come out. If you had unprotected sex I would get to your doctor to do a pregnancy test and ask about going on the pill to stop the panic of pregnancy in the future. Or try using condoms!

Are you kidding? Sperm are excellent swimmers, they swim upstream and can live inside of you for three days, waiting on you to let lose an egg for the sperm to fertilize....why are you being so careless with your life by having unprotected sex.....get on birt control pills immediately and use a condom to protect yourself from stds, if you are not married to this man, he could give you something he picked up from another woman....having unprotected sex with her, as we both know he is capable of doing, he did it with you.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 June 2007):

No that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant!! There are billions of sperm in 1 load of ejaculate (cum) so if you don't want to get pregnant, use protection. The sperm automatically swim upwards, toward your egg that is waiting to be fertilized and it only takes 1 little sprem to get you pregnant.

A female reader, stina United States +, writes (26 June 2007):

stina agony auntHey Anonymous,

Some can come out, but some can stay in. And that means you can still get pregnant. It's best to use some sort of birth control - condoms, pills, the ring, the shot, etc. I suggest you speak with your doctor about what method would be best for you.

Take care.
