When it comes to someone complimenting my looks, it's the same thing, denial and humbleness. Can someone give me some techniques to just accept compliments and move on?

you accept it with a "thank you" and a smile... and let it go...

I used to suffer from the same issue.
It can be a bit awkward when your given attention that arouses jealousy in others.
But remember, You deserve every compliment you get!
If you were not worthy people would not recognise your achievements and compliment it.
Accept any compliment with a smile.
Say "Thank you" and then get on with your day.
Ignore what other people say or think about you recieving compliments because thats just their own insecurity playing out.
I hope this helps!
