However, if he doesn't feel the same way, there is the chance that things could become awkward between the two of you. Is it worth the risk? There is no right or wrong answer, only what is more important to you.
Maybe you could tell him that you would like to tell him something, but you are not expecting anything from him. So even if he doesn't feel the same, you would still like to remain friends. Maybe that might help? Obviously, there is still the chance that things might feel different between you though. But if you get it out, perhaps you might feel better?
It's a tough choice to make, and one that only you can decide. If you think it is not worth risking the friendship, and you think you can cope with your feelings towards him, then it might be better to say nothing. But if you feel strongly for him, and if it is going to bother you endlessly if you say nothing, then it might be worth the risk. It is your choice. Good luck, and I hope things work out well.

It depends. Agood way to decide is to consider which bothers you more: losing him as a friend, or missing out on a relationship with him?
